Guava is a fruit which is commonly found in the Philippines. It is known to be a good source of Vitamin C and some native Filipinos believe that its leaves can cure wounds and the fruit can cure diarrhea. Native guava is small just like a jack stone ball and the highly breed guava fruit can grow big as a football. Guava tree can grow up to 20 feet. It can easily be planted in ordinary soil. As a matter of fact, a typical backyard of Filipino family usually have guava tree. Guava tastes a mixture of sweet and sour and best to deep in small amount of salt to achieve a perfect taste.
